The processing times below are general guidelines and reflect the average current timeframes for reciprocity and exam applications for licensure, applications for APRN authorization and transcripts and supporting documentation evaluation. Application processing times can vary based on individual circumstances.
The processing times below for applications are for complete applications in Coordinator Review status. Applications reach Coordinator Review status after all required documentation has been added to the applicant’s account. Applicants will receive an email from PCS on the date they reach “Coordinator Review Status” after we have received all required documents. Login and check your dashboard to see if we have received your required documents.
Note: Transcripts and other supporting documentation will not be marked off your application track until they have been reviewed. This is not automatically checked off the day we receive or download your documents. Please refer below for estimated processing times.
- Transcripts – Reviewing transcripts received before November 20th, 2023. in the order received. This time frame starts from the day you have an APPLICATION SUBMITTED and PCS has received your approved TRANSCRIPT or CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATION.
- Verifications and Certifications – Reviewing Verifications and Certifications received before November 20th, 2023 in the order received. This time frame starts from the day you have an APPLICATION SUBMITTED and PCS has received your verification or certification.
- Initial Licensure by Exam Applications in Coordinator Review Status for Authorization to Test (ATT) – Reviewing applications that entered Coordinator Review status after November 21st, 2023 and in order the application was COMPLETE. This time frame starts from the day we have received all required documentation and you received an email stating you are in Final Review Status.
- NCLEX Exam Results – Processing NCLEX exam results received after November 21st, 2023 in order received.
- Reciprocity Applications in Coordinator Review Status – Reviewing applications in Coordinator Review Status after November 21st, 2023. This time frame starts from the day we have received all required documentation and you have received an email stating you are in Coordinator Review Status.
- APRN Authorization Applications in Coordinator Review Status – Reviewing applications in Coordinator Review Status after November 20th, 2023. This time frame starts from the day we have received ALL required documentation AND you have received an email stating you are in Coordinator Review Status.
